R&J Public Relations announces the addition of Nicholas LaPlaca as Account Coordinator. LaPlaca, who began his career with R&J as an intern in August 2012, will assume a supportive role in R&J’s account management team, contributing to strategic planning, program execution, and media relations for a variety of the agency’s business-to-business and consumer accounts.
“Nick impressed us right away with his willingness to learn and his ability to hit the ground running,” said John Lonsdorf, President of R&J. “During his internship he demonstrated a desire to grow professionally as well as a strong work ethic, bringing a fresh perspective to our team of seasoned veterans. Prior to joining R&J Public Relations, LaPlaca worked at Raritan Valley Country Club, where he was responsible for event management, employee training, and membership service and communication. A resident of Hillsborough, New Jersey, LaPlaca holds a B.A. in Communication Studies from Kean University.
