On November 10, 2010, New Jersey’s First Lady Mary Pat Christie presided over a ribbon-cutting ceremony at Integrity House, an R&J client and nationally recognized substance abuse rehabilitation center with locations in Newark and Secaucus. R&J coordinated media relations for the event, which marked the opening of Integrity’s new Women’s Supportive Housing Facility and gathered attendance from major New Jersey public figures including Newark Mayor Cory Booker, former Governor James McGreevey, and Essex County Executive Joseph DiVincenzo.
Integrity’s Women’s Supportive Housing Facility offers a secure home for women and mothers with children. Funded by public and private donations, this safe, sober, and beautifully furnished facility will be home to women in their final phase of long-term treatment as they continue to work on their recovery from drugs and alcohol and attain independence and stability for their families. Residents will continue to access much-needed support from Integrity House and each other while rebuilding their personal strength and resources to thrive as women, mothers and productive community members.
