Raritan Bay Medical Center (RBMC), a non-profit community hospital with locations in Old Bridge and Perth Amboy, has selected R&J Public Relations, LLC of Bridgewater, N.J., as its public relations agency of record. R&J has been tasked with elevating the hospitals’ presence and image, while enhancing the loyalty and confidence of staff, physicians, and patients.
Licensed for 501 beds with a medical staff of more than 500, RBMC provides medical-surgical, maternity, pediatric, general and critical care, as well as adult behavioral health, emergency and interventional cardiac and same-day surgery services. The hospital offers several specialty services including the Center for Wound Healing, Center for Sleep Medicine, Center for Women, and Pulmonary and Physical Therapy Rehabilitation Programs.
“Our extensive experience with hospital affairs, combined with our knowledge of the current state of healthcare in New Jersey, made us the ideal agency to work with Raritan Bay Medical Center,” said Scott Marioni, Executive Vice President of R&J Public Relations. “Raritan Bay’s exceptional programs and dedicated medical staff make it a top choice for patients in the community and beyond. We are confident that our strategic public relations efforts will further enhance the hospital’s brand, and position Raritan Bay Medical Center as a leader in the New Jersey healthcare community.”
One of R&J’s key objectives is to increase awareness of RBMC’s high priority service lines, such as the newly established Human Motion Institute. Opening later this year, the Human Motion Institute at RBMC will develop a comprehensive program for the patient’s entire episode of orthopedic care, including prevention, assessment, treatment and rehabilitation of musculoskeletal injuries. RBMC is also a major clinical affiliate of UMDNJ-Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, a member of the Robert Wood Johnson Health Network and an affiliate of the Cancer Institute of New Jersey.
