Somerset Medical Center’s Sleep for Life is the largest licensed sleep lab in New Jersey and one of the largest in the United States, featuring hotel style sleep study rooms for both adults and children. In 2007, Somerset Medical Center engaged R&J to develop a public relations campaign surrounding their state of the art sleep facility. Utilizing Sleep For Life’s dynamic medical leadership, R&J launched a media relations campaign centralized around a number of consumer-oriented sleep topics. By developing and populating an online blog to which Sleep For Life physicians could contribute, and achieving national and regional broadcast/print exposure, the Sleep For Life program was framed as a leading voice in how the general population could achieve a healthier lifestyle through practicing good sleep habits.
